sigh. my uncle got into the hospital today. i mean seriously, what are the chances of getting struck by lightning? then again, what are the chances of surviving a lightning strike? he's dandy and fine, except for some superficial burns. he thought he was gonna die. the funny part was, being the stubborn man, he wouldn't let a female paramedic touch him. then my other uncle was like "shut up and get into the ambulance". i couldn't help but laugh.
it all happened abruptly. my family and i were out there shopping when suddenly we had a call about this whole accident. i was very worried, of course. he's the uncle that saw me through PSLE and i'm the only nephew left that he hasn't seen through O levels yet.
it's really weird though. it's somewhat a spiritual attack. today is the second month my grandpops passed away. and he got striked today. and the ward he was in was the same as the one my aunt used to have.
anyway, back to what i noticed these days. why the hell are there so many old people working as cleaners and stuff. it sucks to see them slogging away, wiping floors and eateries when they should be home enjoying their retirement. where is the pension the government promised them? where the hell are their children? what ever happened to to boosting economy?
this world is a stupid world. it's really unfair how it goes. but still, i love You God. (:
